Tent 3 is our most accessible tent with just a short walk from parking, the bath house and the coffee & tea bar/grilling area.

The ultimate glamping experience!

Canopy Ridge is a premier Glamping retreat and the ultimate glamping experience under the Smoky Mountains forest canopy! Glamping is defined as a luxury form of camping, blending natural experience of outdoor camping with more glamorous amenities. Tent 3 is our most accessible tent, just a short walk from parking and the wonderful hot water bath house. Come enjoy the Smoky’s and the sounds of nature from your private deck or outdoor fire area. Camping has never been easier..or more comfortable!

Tent three is perfect for those who need a closer and easier path to your glamping site. It sits much closer with an almost level path to the bath-house and parking area. A cozy residential queen, with warm blankets, a private outdoor hot water shower with a small sink and an easy to use propane buddy heater to help keep your tent toasty. A short walk from tent 3, is the beautifully done hot water bath-house and a well appointed coffee/tea bar with an area under a roof to prepare and cook on the 2 provided propane grills. We provide firewood (first bundle on us, $5 there after) for your outdoor fire pit, and a kit to get your fire started. There’s seating indoors and outdoors. Plenty of space between tents for privacy (we have not recreated a civil war camp, unlike many glamping resorts. Our tents have tons of privacy).

This is a special place, a special ‘experience’, and we realize it isn’t for everyone. But, if you’re seeking an adventure, a chance to disconnect from the norm, embrace nature, and enjoy the tranquility of being off-grid, in a beautiful setting, than Canopy Ridge is for you.

Other things to note:

Located on private ridge away from the crowds of town. Your glamping tent is set on an untouched mountain top, surrounded by magnificent trees.

We are just over 12 miles from Gatlinburg and local outdoor activities such as horseback, rafting zip lines, etc are very nearby.

Low impact is key and involves leaving the sites as you find them. Our safari tents afford guests the opportunity to disconnect from the norm and connect with nature. With the exception of power and hot water in the bath-house, this is an off-grid experience. The tents mimic outside temps. We are located high on a ridge, under a canopy of trees that provide tons of shade, because of this we are several degrees cooler than the towns below on the valley floor.
