A note from the originators of Canopy Ridge, Bryan and Christy:
We wanted your glamping experience to be the best of both worlds. We have disturbed nature as little as possible while pitching canvas tents upon a wooden platform covered with beautiful hardwood floors. The less we disturb nature, the better you can experience this pristine Smoky Mountain forest. We imagined a backcountry campsite coupled with the most robust canvas tent and the most relaxing pillowtop mattress, something not ordinarily feasible. The trails have been cut by hand and materials brought in on our backs. No heavy machinery as that would leave too large a footprint. The forest imposed its will on us, not the other way around. We are not an RV campground that decided to throw up a few tents side by side and outfit like a condo. We have not crammed so many tents into a field as to resemble a civil war camp. We have created a space for our guests to come, disconnect, and immerse themselves in nature while not sacrificing basic modern comforts.
